Just a random thought that's been running on my mind a lot since the past few months...a home without a TV!
How cool would that be?I do understand that most of you think I'm crazy to have such a thought 'cos a home without a TV is like...well there's no comparison..It Just doesn't happen!! A home without walls...Fine...A home without doors..Fine...without windows...Fine...WITHOUT TV?????...Are you freaking crazy!!
Well call me a cave man but I still stick to my thought. I have been to a lot of homes where the TV's on 16*7 (I'm cutting off 8 hours of sleep that an average human being should have a day)..well..24*7 in some homes then...It never used to annoy me till recently but nowadays the first thought that runs into my mind when I enter a home,even my own, is where the hell is that Goddamn Remote or Should i just pull the power plug out?
It was a brave and amazing invention but I sometimes even feel Farnsworth or Jenkins (wikie'd for the inventor :P ) might, for a second, curse the moment they thought about it!
Quick question...When's the last time you spent an entire day ; oh forget it , I know that's too much ; at least half a day at home without watching the TV? Mind-teaser , ain't it?
I wish the world,on it's cyclic spin, comes back to those days when life was much more simpler ; when people used to sit and talk to each other ; when homes were filled with the noises of the elders and the kids and not of the Soapy Ads or the Steamy Songs or the never ending soaps that reverberate off the TV!!...i wish ...i wish ...
